Charitable Giving Has Never Been Easier for Donors in Charlotte & throughout North Carolina

Charitable Giving CharlotteIn these tough economic times, you may not feel like charitable giving is within your means. But did you know that, if you’re a Charlotte resident, you can help those in need just by donating used items you have lying around your home or office? From clothes that no longer fit to electronics that you’ve replaced with newer models, there’s a local charity that accepts a variety of used items – National Kidney Services (NKS).

NKS is a kidney disease organization that works hard to make donating easy, convenient, and accessible for all of our donors in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Not only do we accept a wide variety of items – clothes, books, toys, furniture, cookware, decorative items, linens, and more – but we also provide numerous ways to donate. Simply request a free pickup by calling 704-393-5780 or by filling out our online form. If you would prefer to drop off your donation for our nonprofit, bring them to any Value Village thrift department store in your area.

Help us spread the word about charitable giving and how important it is to support local charities like ours. We gladly pick up donations from locations throughout your community, such as:

  • Houses
  • Apartments
  • Businesses
  • Yard sales
  • Estate sales
  • Community sales
  • Municipal buildings
  • Churches
  • Schools

With your charitable giving, NKS is able to support the National Kidney Foundation and their worthy efforts to increase kidney disease awareness, provide early detection screenings, and promote organ donation, in addition to a variety of other programs aimed at reducing the prevalence of kidney disease throughout the Carolinas.  Now that you know who to donate to and how to donate, make today the day that you help those in need.
