Whether you’re on your way home from work, dropping the kids off at school, or just running errands, you can swing by your nearest Ohio Thrift with your unwanted clothing and housewares. Not only will you be clearing unwanted clutter from your home or office, but you’ll also be helping a worthy local charity.

NKS is committed to advancing the fight against chronic kidney disease by donating the proceeds generated from your contributions to the National Kidney Foundation (NKF). NKF is a non-profit health organization that has established valuable programs aimed at raising kidney disease awareness and reducing the prevalence of this illness throughout Ohio and the nation. Your contributions will help to support programs like the following:

  • KEEP® early detection screenings for individuals who are at a high risk of developing kidney disease
  • End the Wait® kidney transplant awareness program to increase the number of kidneys available for sick patients
  • KAPPA Kidney Camp for children who have kidney disease or who have undergone a kidney transplant
