About every 4 to 6 weeks, NKS representatives will contact you to inquire if you have items to donate and if so, we will include your home or business as part of our scheduled donation pickup route. Here’s what you should know:

• Standard weekday pickups run from Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to sunset. We will let you know what day we plan to be in your New Albany, Ohio neighborhood for a donation pickup.

• Drivers can collect your items if you are away from home, but are not allowed to enter your home to collect donations.

• Gather the items you wish to donate and pack them in boxes or bags.

• All boxes or bags holding your donations should be clearly labeled with “NKS.” Drivers will not pick up unmarked boxes and bags.

• The day before your donation pickup, please leave your donations outside in a clean, accessible area visible from the road.

• Upon pickup, drivers will leave a tax receipt, as all donations to National Kidney Services are tax deductible*.

National Kidney Services also offers expedited donation pickup if you need your donations picked up in one week or less and Saturday pickups for large donations.
